Sweet Basil catered our 100-person wine tasting charity event to benefit a program at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Amy’s team worked with our wine provider to design appetizers that complimented the wines we would be serving. We had a lot of guests who regularly go to these kinds of cocktail events, and they were all saying that our appetizers were the most delicious that they had ever tasted at a party. Amy did a really nice job of making sure there was food for all guests for the whole two and a half hours. I had just moved to a new home when my husband asked me to host a business cocktail party for 50. I rarely use a caterer, but after hearing about Sweet Basil from a friend, and feeling overwhelmed, I decided to call. It was the best decision I ever made. They took care of everything from the food, to the rental of glasses, ice, tables, and linens. The staff of three were equally impressive…young, energetic, and very knowledgeable. The hors d’oeuvres were varied, delicious and plentiful. My sons never left the door to the kitchen so that they could be the first to eat from every tray as it emerged from the kitchen.
